Knowing the importance of candid, lively, and attractive headshots I work with each individual to find what motivates them. It can be based on people you are intimate with, your outfits, or the characters from a play/film you're in. I also create an environment that allows for creativity and spontaneity. If you want you can perform a piece from a dance, musical, or a song and I'll shoot during that mini performance. I understand that people are very dynamic and need more than one shot to show off their true selves therefore I like to equip my clients with a number of unique shots that show off different aspects of their personality and the characters that they can play.

typical session
I'm the photographer who doesn't like to rush. It takes time for a person to feel comfortable in front of the camera. There are some actors who hate having their pictures taken. Together we look at the pictures on a computer throughout the shoot. There are no surprises, any adjustments can be made right away instead of having to wait for film to be developed. Using this instant feedback system it offers you a mini lesson in modeling. Even if you hate being in front of a camera, with the time we spend you will learn to be comfortable and find what works. This is only possible with digital. My clients always have trouble choosing because of the sheer quantity of quality shots. At the end of the session we look thru all the photos to make sure we have the shots you need. If we missed anything we can go back in the studio and shoot some more. Then you receive all the shots in full size on a CD.

what cloths to bring
Above all your clothing should fit you well and you should feel comfortable in them. Bring four or five different outfits usually only three end up being used. Bring clothes that are simple; nothing too busy or distracting. Please no ruffles, stripes or plaid. You should choose outfits as if you are going on a date; outfits that show how attractive you are.  Also choose attire based on characters you would be cast in. Examples: sporty sweat shirt for an athlete, suit for an executive, etc...

hair makeup & retouching
I recommend the use of a make-up artist. The quality of all the shots will be much higher. If your a guy with clear skin or your confident you can do your own make-up then the shoot should be fine. Otherwise the price is $100 for men and $125 for women which is paid directly to the make-up artist. She stays through out the entire session and performs touch-ups as needed.

how to pay
A deposit of 100 through paypal secures your deposit. The remaining balance will be paid in cash or money order on the day of the shoot. If you pay by check I will have to mail you the CD and final print once the check clears. The make-up artist will also be paid directly in cash.
